TRUCK ACCIDENT FATAL TO TED J. NIKKEL OF CLOUD CHIEF, OKLAHOMA

Corn, Okla., Oct 7. — Ted J. Nikkel, residing near Cloud Chief, was instantly killed when the truck he was driving collied [sic] with a truck owned by Troy Maddox, also of cloud Chief.

Maddox was returning home from a cattle hauling trip to Oklahoma City, and Nikkel was hauling a load of hops to market. The accident occurred about 54 o'clock Wednesday morning.

The two trucks sideswept, the left front corner of Maddox truck hitting Nikkel's truck behind the cab. Nikkel's body was crushed on the left side, killing him instantly. Maddox and his driver escaped with minor injuries. — Washita County Enterprise.
