IN FATAL ACCIDENT WHILE EN ROUTE HOME FROM CONFERENCE
Reedley, Calif. — Four members of the Mennonite Brethren church en route home from the church wide conference at Hillsboro, Kansas, were involved in a fatal accident near Mojave, Calif. Nov. 5.
Cornelius Nikkel, 72, of Reedley died at the Mojave hospital Nov. 9 as result of injuries received in the crash. Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here Nov. 12.
Also injured in the head-on collision were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Adrian of Fresno and Mrs. Greer of Dinuba. The group had visited relatives in Kansas and Oklahoma.
