— Rev. Vernon Nightengale, 45, pastor of the Salem Mennonite Church at Copeland, died Saturday at the Halstead Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Salem church, with Rev. Frank Wenger of Hesston and Rev. Orlan Wedel officiating. Rev. Nightengale is survived by his wife, one daughter and four sons, his mother, Mrs. Leah Nightengale of Greensburg, three brothers and five sisters.
