— Funeral services for Willard Nickel, four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nickel of Goessel, were held at the Alexanderwohl church there last Friday afternoon. They boy passed away on Monday, Aug. 16, after having suffered for some months from an unusual disease of the eyes, which doctors declared as cancer. Willard is survived by his parents, one brother and several sisters and many relatives who deeply sympathize with the parents over their bereavement. Funeral services were conducted in the English language by Rev. P. H. Unruh, and by Rev. J. J. Banman of Newton in the German language.
