JOHN E. NEUHAUSER

John E. Neuhauser, son of John and Fanny (Gunden) Neuhauser, was born July 7, 1881 at Flanagan, Ill. and passed away May 9, 1965 at Eureka, Ill. at the age of 83 years, 10 months and two days.

On Dec. 23, 1908 he was united in marriage to Laura Slagel who preceded him in death on Aug. 14, 1923. He then united in marriage to Donnabelle Zoll on Dec. 30, 1925. She also preceded him in death, in 1959. Also preceding him were one son Kenneth; two brothers, Peter and William; and his sisters, Mrs. Katie Webb and Lydia.

Surviving are five daughters, Lucile Yordy of Flanagan, Ill., Mildred Beeson of Bloomington, Ill., LaVern Johnson of Malden, Ill., Helen Kennel of Eureka, Ill., and Dorothy Miller of Engadine, Mich.; one son, J. Milton of Phillips, Wis.

He was a member of the Roanoke, Ill. Mennonite Church where services were held with Rev. Norman Derstine officiating. Burial was made in Center Cemetery near Flanagan.
