● Homemaker Clara M. Neufeld, 81, of Halstead died July 18 at Halstead Hospital. Funeral services were held July 21 at Garden Mennonite Church, Moundridge, with Darlon Tschetter and Leonard W. Harder officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Ferd; one son, Dorel of Halstead; one daughter, Virginia Neufeld of Newton; one sister, Esther Bearden of Enid, Okla.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
