WILLIS A. MOYER

Willis A. Moyer, an electrical contractor in Harleysville, Pa. for 42 years, departed from this life suddenly at his place of employment next door to his residence on July 23 at the age of 74 years.

After owning the Moyer Electric Service in Harleysville for 42 years, Mr. Moyer sold the business to his son, Wesley Moyer, and continued to work for his son until his death.

Mr. Moyer was a member of Eden Mennonite Church, Schwenksville. He was a past member of the council of the church for 32 years, a member of the board of directors of the Mennonite Home for 15 years, and a charter member of the Harleysville Fire Company.

In his transformation from this life to the heavenly home he leaves to mourn his wife, Mary Ellen; one son, Wesley; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel A. (Lizzie) Landis of Harleysville and Mrs. Mildred DeTurk of Hatfield, Pa.

Funeral services were held on July 17. A prayer service was held at the family home followed by services at Eden Mennonite Church. His final resting place is Salford Mennonite Church Cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. Walter Fry, pastor of the Eden Church. — The Family.
