Mrs. Maria G. Moyer

Philadelphia, Pa., June 23. — On Saturday evening, June 15th, just before sunset, God called out of this life, Maria G. Moyer, to awaken in the new World on Sabbath Morning. Mrs. Moyer was born may 26th, 1851, thus bringing her age to 78 years, and 20 days.

Through here entire life she was a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and proved herself a faithful and willing servant in His Kingdom. Mrs. Moyer's interest was not confined to the First Church, where she has been member since 1891, but her interest extended to the Conference orphanage work, of which fund she was treasurer for many years.

May 11th, 1872, she was united in marriage to Charles H. Moyer, and to this union four children were born, two daughters and two sons. The daughters preceded their mother in death. She leaves her sorrowing husband, two sons and many other relatives to mourn their loss. May her rest be sweet after many years of loving toil and service for her loved ones and her church.
