PIONEER ON CONGO MISSION FIELD DIED AT BERNE, IND.

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services were to be held at the Defenseless Mennonite church near here on Sunday, July 27, for Rev. Henry H. Moser, 52, pioneer missionary to the Belgian Congo who passed away suddenly of a heart attack on July 25. The service was to be in charge of the pastor, Rev. N. J. Schmucker.

Rev. and Mrs. Moser, both natives of this community, had been missionaries for 25 years and were among the early workers in the Congo Inland mission. They returned here for furlough last October.

Survivors include the widow and an only child, Burnell Moser of Indianapolis. A brother, Chester Moser, is superintendent of the Salem Cihldren’s [sic] Home, Flanagan, Ill.
