Missionary Dies

Elkhart, Ind. (MBMC) — Word was received here that Mrs. Lydia Ellen Schertz Mitchell, missionary to India from 1906 to 1918 under the Mennonite Board of Missions, died July 9 in California where she had made her home for many years. She had been cared for by a niece, Mrs. Burl Hampton of Ceres, Calif.
