HENRY G. MININGER

Henry G. Mininger, son of Joseph and Annie Godshall Mininger, was born Dec. 4, 1883 near Hatfield, Pa., where he lived most of his life. he died April 14, 1972 at the age of 88.

He was married on Oct. 3, 1908 to Sallie C. Schlosser. She died Dec. 18, 1968. They had 60 happy years together. They spent a number of years in Sarasota, Fla.

He was a contractor for 40 years, after which his son went into business with him for a few years.

He was a member of the Towamencin Mennonite Church. He was a charter member of the Hatfield Savings and Loan. He enjoyed being with people and conversing with them, whether children, young people or older ones.

He lived in Hatfield with his daughter until four weeks before his death, when he went to Harman, W. Va. to visit his son and daughter. While there he suffered a stroke, and soon went to be with his Lord.

He is survived by two daughters, Gertrude, wife of Warren K. Ziegler of Hatfield, Pa., and Margaret, wife of Dr. Samuel Bucher of Harman, W. Va.; a son Joseph H. of Harman; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Towamencin Mennonite Church, Kulpsville, Pa., on April 16, with Rev. Ellis Mack and John Freed officiating.
