LYDIA R. MILLER

Lydia R. Miller, daughter of J. D. and Elizabeth (Troyer) Troyer was born Nov. 26, 1895, at Middlebury, Ind., and died Oct. 26, 1961 at the Pleasantview Rest Home, Kalona, Iowa, aged 65 years, 11 months.

She united with the Mennonite Church in her youth and at the time of her death was a member of the Kalona Mennonite Church, Kalona, Iowa.

She was united in marriage with Leroy V. Miller on Dec. 25, 1915. Her entire married life was spent in the Kalona community except for 11 years at Stuttgart, Ark.

Survivors include her husband; four children: Grace, Mrs. Gerhard Tiessen, Kalona; John J. Miller of Wellman; Ralph W. Miller, and Mabel, Mrs. Al Neuenschwander, Kalona, and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are her stepmother, Mrs. J. D. Troyer of Tampico, Ill.; three sisters: Mary, Mrs. Lee Niffenegger, Sarasota, Fla.; Mada, Mrs. Jake Stoltzfus, Ardmore, Pa.; Velma, Mrs. Walter Dussinger, Lancaster, Pa.; three brothers: Oliver, Hutchinson, Kan.; Jerry, New Holland, Pa.; and Levi of Ashland, Ky.; two step-sisters, Ella, Mrs. Lee Kempf, and Effie, Mrs. Lloyd Swartzendruber, of Tampico, Ill., and a step-brother, Emory Hochstetler of Florida.

Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters: Barbara, wife of Harry Stutzman, and Elizabeth, wife of Ralph Stutzman.

Funeral services were held at the East Union Mennonite Church Sunday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. Ministers in charge were D. J. Fisher; Eugene Garber and A. Lloyd Swartzendruber. — The Family.
