Follows Husband In Death at Age 81

Wayland, Iowa. — Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Miller, 81, a lifelong resident of this community, were held Nov. 17 at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.

Mrs. Miller's husband, Amasa Miller, preceded her in death on Sept. 24 of this year. She died Nov. 15 at the home of a daughter. Mrs. Willis Troyer, where she had been cared for the last month.

Mrs. Miller was the former Katie Reschly. She and her husband farmed in the Olds community and east of Wayland until their retirement in 1942. About two years ago they entered Parkview Home.

Surviving in the immediate family are five daughters and five sons and their families. There are 43 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
