Mississippi Pastor Dies in Accident

Goshen, Ind. — Word was received here that Rev. Joni M. Miller, 58, a minister of the Magnolia Conservative Mennonite Church at Macon, Miss., was fatally injured in a traffic accident at Macon on Sept 23.

Rev. Miller was formerly a resident of the Millersburg community near here. Survivors include his widow, the former Mattie Bontrager, four sons and one daughter, all of Mississippi.

Six of his brothers and sisters from this area left to attend the funeral which was to be held at Macon on Sept 26.

Correction

Rev. Joni M. Miller, who was instantly killed in a highway accident near Macon, Miss. on Sept. 23, was minister of the nonconference Conservative Mennonite Church at Foxworth, Miss. A news report of the accident in the Oct. 1 issue of the Review stated that he was a minister of the Magnolia Conservative Church near Macon.

Rev. Miller was driving a tractor on the highway, pulling a brush cutter, when struck from behind by a large gravel truck.
