Retired Teacher Called at 83

Sugarcreek. Ohio. — John Franklin Miller, who spent all of his 83 years in this community and taught school here for 33 of those years, passed away at his home on the Shanesville-Walnut Creek road Nov. 28. He suffered a stroke the day before and did not regain consciousness.

Funeral services were held Friday at the First Mennonite church, of which he was a member, Rev. Wm. H. Stauffer and Rev. Paul R. Miller officiating.

He is survived by one son, H. Clay of Massillon, a foster daughter, Mrs. Dina Pauli of Fredericksburg, and a sister, Emma Miller of the home.
