Ohio Couple Killed At Railroad Crossing

GIDEON AND LENA MILLER DIE WHEN CAR IS HIT BY FAST MAIL TRAIN

Archbold, Ohio. — Double funeral services were held at the North Clinton Mennonite Church near here Oct. 29 for Gideon Miller, 68, and his wife Lena, 70, who were instantly killed in a grade crossing accident Saturday afternoon. Officiating at the services were D. L. Sommers, E. B. Frey, Raymond Richer and Olen Nofziger.

The couple was en route to their home east of Pettisville when their car was struck by a speeding New York Central mail train at an unguarded crossing. The car was demolished.

The Millers are survived by four sons, three daughters, and 26 grandchildren. Mr. Miller also leaves his step-mother, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Pettisville, two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Miller leaves two brothers and one sister.
