FANNIE MILLER

Fannie Miller, daughter of John D. and Emma (Helmuth) Miller, was born January 10, 1938, at Hutchinson, Kans; died Saturday, June 18, 1949 at 3:50 a. m., at Grace hospital, Hutchinson, Kans., age 11 years, five months and eight days.

On June 5, 1949, she was baptized as a member in the Old Order Amish Mennonite church and was happy in her new life.

She leaves to mourn her departure her father: four brothers, Albert 17, Eli 14, Edward 6, David 5, and one sister, Barbara 3; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. David J. Miller and Mrs. Katie Nisly; six uncles and three aunts.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one uncle, one grandfather, and one step-grandfather.

The cause of her death was rheumatic fever. She had been suffering with this ailment for four years.

She was a very patient and obedient child and had a ready greeting and cheerful smile for all. She will be greatly missed in her home and community. Yet we do not mourn as those who have no hope, but feel that our loved one has gone before, to be with her God and our God in eternity. We feel she is now with her mother and her heavenly Father. — By the Family.
