Little Girl Fatally Hurt On Visit in Missouri

Bowling Green, Mo. — Funeral services for little Emma S. Miller, eight-week-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam E. Miller of Fairbank, Iowa, were conducted Aug. 20 at the Sam. A. Bontrager home in the Amish settlement here.

The infant girl was fatally injured in a buggy accident. The Miller family was traveling down a farm lane with a borrowed horse and buggy when the horse balked and started to back at a bridge. The horse and buggy rolled down a bank, the horse falling on Mrs. Miller and her child.

Mrs. Miller was hospitalized for several days, but other members of the family were uninjured.
