CLAUDE MILLER

Claude Miller, 89, of Shipshewana, Ind. died May 25, 1985, at his home after a two-year illness.

He was born May 22, 1896, in the Shipshewana-Shore area and lived there all of his life. He married Edna Miller on April 14, 1917.

He enjoyed singing, especially with the family and was involved in church singing for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Edna, three daughters, Frances (Mrs. Richard L.) Hoolley and Agnes (Mrs. Jesse) Riegsecker, both of Middlebury, Ind., and Mary (Mrs. Dale) Hartzler of Indianapolis; a son, Claude of Elkhart, Ind.; 112 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ralph Miller of Marion, Ohio. Two children precede him in death.

Services were held May 28 at the Shore Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. Dorsa Mishler and Orville Miller were in charge. Burial was in the Shore cemetery.
