MRS. MILTON L. MEYERS
Mrs. Milton L. Meyers, 75, died at her home in Salem, Ore. on Tuesday night, Feb. 22, following a cerebral hemorrhage.
The deceased was the former Alice Steiner, and came to Salem with her parents in 1887. She was born at Bluffton, Ohio on April 21, 1873, the daughter of Gideon and Elizabeth Steiner. Rev. Chris. Steiner of the Swiss Mennonite settlement was her grandfather.
She was married to Milton L. Meyers in 1898. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last year on Sept. 28.
Surviving besides the husband are two nieces, Mrs. Daniel J. Fry of Salem and Mrs. Earl C. Flegel of Portland, and a nephew, Dr. Milton B. Steiner of Portland. Dan J. Steiner is her great uncle.
