— An unusual tragedy happened here last Thursday, when a passenger on the eastbound Sante Fe committed suicide by shooting himself after the train had just left the local station. The train was immediately stopped and the man was rushed to the Axtell Christina hospital, where he died soon afterward. other passengers in the coach were thrown into a panic as a result of the shooting, but no one had noticed the man's intentions in time to avoid his fatal deed. He was identified as A. B. McIlvain of West Liberty, Ohio.
