SON OF REAPER INVENTOR DIED LAST WEEK

At Beverly Hills, Calif., the son of the famous inventor of the reaper, Harold F. McCormick, 69, chairman of the board of directors of International Harvester Company, died in his palatial Beverly Hills mansion following a long illness.

Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. McCormick has been a partial invalid for years, suffering from arthritis and heat ailments. he was the son of Cyrus Hall McCormick, who invented the grain binder, which has played a great part in revolutionizing grain harvesting operations in all parts of the world.
