VIRGINIA MAN, FATHER OF SIX, FATALLY INJURED IN FALL
Lynnhaven, Va. — Norman D. Mast, 37, route manager for the Yoder Dairies here for the past number of years and the father of six children, was fatally injured in a fall from a building on Dec. 18 and passed away the same day. Funeral services were held on Dec. 21 at the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite church at Fentress, of which he was a member.
Mr. Mast and several helpers were dismantling a government building when his co-workers heard a wrecking bar fall. They found him on the ground with a serious head injury, and he passed away at the Marine hospital several hours later without regaining consciousness.
The six children and his wife, Virginia Smucker Mast, survive.
