Ada Nancy King received her first copy of Tennessee John Stoltzfus: Amish Church-Related Documents and Family Letters. The book contains letters that Lydia Stolzfus Mast, great-granddaughter of Tennessee John, had among the belongings of her grandfather, Bishop Gideon Stoltzfus. The $24.95 volume was edited by Paton Yoder. It is a follow-up of Eine Wuerzel, a biography of Tennessee John written by Paton Yoder. An autograph party is being planned for Sept. 12 at the Mennonite historical Society in Lancaster.

Lydia Stoltzfus Mast, 91, wife of the late Isaac C. Mast, Atglen, died May 6 after a long illness. She died 10 days before the above-named book, to which she contributed the letters was published.
