Youth Fatally Hurt In Fall from Horse

Goshen, Ind. — A fall from a horse claimed the life of Keith Allen Mast, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James mast of Goshen.

The accident occurred Sunday afternoon, May 19, near Columbia City where Keith was visiting friends. He was riding the horse when the saddle slipped, pitching him onto cement and causing massive head injuries. He died the following morning at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Surviving in addition to the parents are three sisters, Carolyn, Marlene and Darlene, all of the home.

Funeral services were held May 21 at the East Goshen Mennonite Church, where Keith was a member, with Rev. Clifford G. Miller officiating.
