AMISH SCHOOLGIRL, 13, DIES OF POLIO
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Thirteen-year-old Katie E. Mast, student at the Beech Grove School, died at Akron Children's Hospital of an illness diagnosed as bulbar type polio. She had been in the hospital only two days.
Funeral services were held Dec. 13 at the home of her parents, Emanuel L. Masts, on route 2, Apple Creek.
