AMISH GIRL, AGE 5, DIES UNDER WHEEL OF MANURE SPREADER
Orrville, Ohio. — A tragic accident at the farm home of Demas and Clara (Beachy) Mast in East Union Township Oct. 19 claimed the life of their five-year-old daughter, Katie Ann.
She was running along beside a manure spreader, and as it turned into a field she fell under a rear wheel and was instantly killed.
The Masts are members of the Amish church. Funeral services were conducted in the home on Oct. 22.
