89-YEAR-OLD BISHOP OF CONSERVATIVE CHURCH DIES AT REST HOME

Belleville, Pa. — Funeral services for John L. Mast, 89-year-old retired bishop of the Conservative Mennonite Conference, were held May 29 at the Locust Grove church here. He died May 26 at the Swartzendruber Rest Home, Greenwood, Del.

Bishop Mast was ordained to the ministry in 1900 and to the office of bishop in 1906, retiring in 1937.
