Ohio Youth Killed, Three Injured
Kidron, Ohio. — Nearly 1,000 persons attended Amish funeral services at the home of Demas D. Mast, Jr. near Orrville on Feb. 2 for the Masts' son Henry, 20, who was killed in a one-car accident near here.
Three other youths were injured in the crash but are recovering. They are Emanuel E. Mast, Jr., 17, the driver; Freeman Mast, 18, brother of the dead youth; and Henry Hershberger, 19. All are of the Orrville community.
The four youths, all employed as carpenters, were approaching Kidron when they slowed for a vehicle ahead of them. The car went out of control and struck a tree in the yard of Dr. V. W. Zuercher.
