Wife of Orrville, O. Businessman Dies

Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for Mrs. Magdalena Martin, 63, wife of Phares D. Martin, were held July 31 at the Crown Hill Mennonite Church where she was a long-time member. Mrs. Martin died July 28 after a year's illness.

The former Magdalena Mann of Elkhart, Ind., she had resided in this vicinity since her marriage to Mr. Martin in 1925. He is the owner of Martin's Inc., and she assisted in the business for some years.

Mrs. Martin was active in the Crown Hill Church, the Oesteopathic [Osteopathic] Hospital Guild and the Women's Auxiliary of the Mennonite Home for the Aged. She was a long-time correspondent for the Mennonite Weekly Review.

Surviving in addition to her husband are five daughters and two sons and their families, and three brothers.
