FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE CALLED IN DEATH
Funeral services were held at Arlington National Cemetery on Oct. 13 for Gen. Geo. C. Marshall, Army chief of staff during World War II and later Secretary of State, who died Oct. 9 after a long illness. He was 78 years of age.
