ANDREW M. MACK

Andrew M. Mack was born Feb. 24, 1892, the son of Jesse and Mary (Mench) Mack. He died May 22, 1974 at the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, Pa.

He married Cora Detwiler on March 1, 1913. His wife died on Dec. 7, 1960.

Survivors include three daughters, Alice, wife of James Myers, Ruth, widow of Henry Myers, and Sara, at home; one son, Andrew Jr., 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, John, Elmer and Jesse. One sister, Mrs. John Ehst of Bally, Pa., preceded him in death as did an infant son.

He was a nephew of the late Bishop Noah H. Mack of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference and an uncle of the late Dr. Noah K. Mack, former medical missionary to Africa.

Andrew Mack had been a member of the Providence Mennonite Church near Yerkes, Pa. since his youth. He was a farmer, Sunday school teacher, church janitor, sexton and an active worker in many other functions of the church. He had a pronounced concern for the lost, and that the church remain faithful.

The funeral was held on May 27 at his home church, in charge of Norman G. Kolb and Jacob F. Kolb. Text, Rev. 22:14.
