RETIRED BUSINESS MAN DIED AT BERNE, INDIANA

Berne, Ind. — E. A. Luginbill, 81, well known retired businessman here died at his home on Jan. 4 and funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church Saturday, Jan 5.

Mr. Luginbill, a native of Missouri, was manager of the Berne Grain and Hay company from 1909 to 1936. In his younger years, he organized one of the community’s first German silver cornet bands and was a charter member of the Mennonite men’s chorus.

He leaves his wife, two sons and a daughter, and a number of sisters and brothers.
