REUEL N. LONG
Reuel N. Long, 69, of Sterling, Ill. died Saturday, Sept. 23, in his home of a heart attack.
Mr. Long was born in Chambersburg, Pa. on Sept. 20, 1989, the son of David and Anna Horst Long. He was married Aug. 24, 1921 to Ida Conrad at Sterling. He was a member of the Science ridge Mennonite Church.
Mr. Long is survived by his widow, Ida; one son, Daryl of Eleroy, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Elwood C. (Joyce) Graber of Stryker, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Rhoda) Ebersole of Sterling; one brother, Menno of Sterling; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, three brothers, and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Science Ridge Mennonite Church, with Pastor Edwin J. Stalter officiating. Burial was in the Science Ridge Cemetery.
