MRS. ADELIA LIND

Mrs. Adelia (Spalding) Lind was born May 1, 1885, in northern Indiana. Later the family moved to Louisiana where she grew up. As a young woman she went to Los Angeles and there in a Brethren church she met Monroe Lind, to whom she was married December 14, 1910.

Two sons were born into this union, Milo of Wadsworth, Ohio and Carl of Rittman, Ohio.

She united with First Mennonite church, Wadsworth, Ohio with her husband and has been an active and faithful member as long as health permitted her to fulfill her duties.

After a prolonged sickness she was relieved of all suffering on the evening of June 30, 1953, bringing her age to 68 years, one month and 29 days.

Her husband, the two sons and one granddaughter survive: also her aged mother, Mrs. Dora Spalding: a brother Ira and a sister Edna at Iowa, Louisiana; a sister Mrs. Arthur Matrene, Beeville, Texas, and sister, Mrs. H. E. Matrene, of De Ridder, Louisiana.

Her pastor, Rev. A. J. Neuenschwander, used I Thessalonians 3:3 as text for the funeral sermon.

Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth, Ohio.
