RONALD DEAN LILE

Ronald Dean Lile, son of E. C. and Zelia (Gross) Lile, was born March 26, 1936, near Gray, Okla., and departed from this life on Sept. 22, 1961, at Colorado Springs, Colo. following injuries received in an auto accident.

Ronnie grew to manhood in Perryton, Texas, having moved here with his parents in 1944. He attended the local schools and also the high school department of Hesston College, where he received his high school diploma in 1956.

As a youth he recognized his need of a personal Saviour and was baptized upon the confession of his faith in December of 1949. At that time he united with the Perryton Mennonite Church. In 1958 he moved to Colorado Springs and transferred his membership to the First Mennonite Church at that place.

On Feb. 25, 1960, Ronnie was married to Shirley Rheam of Belleville, Pa.

Ronnie had moved to Colorado Springs in September of 1958 and was employed in St. Francis Hospital where he was giving his two years of alternative service. He chose to continue working at the hospital as an orderly following completion of his term of service.

Ronnie was an avid reader. His field of interest was science and electronics. He was planning to pursue this field and was currently preparing himself on a part-time basis and hoped to go to school full time later.

Besides his wife, Shirley, he is survived by one daughter, Colette; his parents, of Perryton; a sister, Beatrice, and a brother, Jerry, also of Perryton.

Funeral services were held on Sept. 27 at the First Baptist Church of Perryton with Rev. Jacob Weirich and Rev. Wallace Jantz officiating.
