— Funeral services for Grandmother Isaac Leppke, 82 year old resident of Hillsboro, Kansas, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church there on Monday, June 17. Death came to Mrs. Leppke after a five year illness. Coming to America from Russia as a 17 year old girl, Mrs. Leppke experienced the hardships of pioneer life when her parents homesteaded near Peabody, Kansas, in the early days of the settlement. She and her husband, who died recently, were privileged to live together for 62 years.
