MRS. AGNES LEPP

Agnes Lepp (nee Wiebe) of Mt. Lehman, B.C. went to be with the Lord on July 22 in her 97th year after a full and rich life.

She was born on May 20, 1870 in Tiege, South Russia and spent most of her life in that country. In 1892 she married Henry Lepp of Tiege and in 1899 both found Jesus Christ as personal Saviour. In 1903 they were baptized upon their confession and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church.

In 1929 the family moved to Canada settling first at Hepburn and moving later to British Columbia. They had three sons and seven daughters. Mr. Lepp predeceased his wife in 1947.

Mrs. Lepp spent 13 of her widowed years with children and the last six in the Menno Private Hospital at Abbotsford where she also died. She is survived by one son, Jacob Lepp of Clearbrook, B.C.; four daughters, Agnes (Mrs. David Mierau) of Russia, Tina (Mrs. Nick Wiens) of Clearbrook, Anna (Mrs. Peter Wiens) of Clearbrook, and Helen (Mrs. Henry Haak) of Mt. Lehman. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 109 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The funeral was observed in the Matsqui (B.C.) Church on July 27 with Rev. J. Thielmann, Rev. I. Toews and Rev. J. Kasper officiating.
