FATHER'S SHOUTS FAIL TO STOP GIRL RUNNING INTO PATH OF CAR
Berne, Ind. — Relatives here were notified that three-year-old Janeen Lengacher of Hicksville, Ohio died in a Fort Wayne hospital after being struck by a car near her home.
Reports of the tragedy said the father, Victor Lengacher, shouted warnings but the little girl ran into the path of the approaching car.
Hicksville is located northeast of Fort Wayne, near the state line.
