FUNERAL OF HULDA ANNA LEISY HELD AT MENNONITE CHURCH IN IOWA

Donnellson, Ia., March 19. — Funeral services for Hulda Anna Leisy were held in the Zion Mennonite church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. H. E. Nunemaker. Mrs. Frank Gaylord and Mrs. Ernest Krehbiel sang the hymns "The Haven of Rest" and "Nearer My God to Thee," accompanied by Miss Alma Lowenberg and Miss Hilda Krehbiel. The body was laid to rest in the Mennonite cemetery, the following nephews of the deceased being pallbearers: Eric Schweer, Walter Schweer, Paul Schweer, Rev Karl Rest, Rev. Henry Rest and Rev. Frederich Rest.

Hulda Anna Leisy, daughter of the late Jacob and Lisetta Leisy, passed away in her home in Biggsville, Ill., Monday evening, March 9, at 9 o'clock at the age of 76 years and 3 days. She was born near Donnellson March 6, 1866, and received her education in the rural schools of Lee county. At an early age she became a member of the Zion Mennonite church holding that membership at the time of her death.

For 35 years she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Karl Rest, and for the past two years she had made her home with her niece, Miss Elizabeth Rest, at Biggsville Illinois. — Donnellson Review.
