text of obituary:

Mrs. Gideon Lehman, who submitted to quite a serious operation for gall stone at Bluffton hospital one day last week, died late Sunday evening, the results no doubt of her prolonged illness and a weak heart.

Mrs. Sarah Lehman (nee Luginbill) was born in Richland township, Allen County, Ohio on April 8, 1876 and died May 9, 1926, aged 50 years, 1 month and 1 day.

Early in youth she was baptized and received into the Mennonite church and remained a faithful member until her death.

On March 13, 1898, she was married to Gideon Lehman which union was blest with three children: two daughters, Inez and Eudora and one son Quentin. Mrs. Lehman is also survived by two brothers, Elmer and Edwin and one sister Mrs. John Diller.

Mrs. Lehman although ill for many months, always showed a resigned and patient spirit. Everything possible that human hands could do was done for her but it seems that her allotted years were numbered and her life journey had come to a close.

Mrs. Lehman was active in the church to which she belonged and always was ready and willing to help serve wherever there was an opportunity.

In the passing away of Mrs. Lehman the husband loses a faithful companion and the children a dear mother. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives.

Funeral services conducted at her late home in Pandora Wed., May 12th, at 1:30 o’clock P.M. Funeral proper at the St John church at 2:00 o’clock in charge of her pastor Rev. Rosenberger, assisted by Revs. Regier and Dibert, also of this place.
