RETIRED BUSINESS MAN DIES AT 91

Nappanee, Ind. — Funeral services for Noah Lehman, 91, former Nappanee business man, were held at a funeral home here March 30. He was a member of the First Mennonite church of Nappanee. Rev. Gordon Dyck, the pastor officiated.

Mr. Lehman operated a furniture store and funeral home here from 1898 until his retirement in 1920. He was also an auctioneer. Eight years ago he moved to St. Petersburg, Fla., where his death occurred on March 27.

LEAVES $5,000 BEQUEST FOR SENIOR HOME OR OTHER CHURCH PROJECT

Goshen, Ind. — The Central District Conference has received a bequest of $5,000 from the estate of Noah Lehman, former auctioneer, mortician and furniture dealer of Nappanee, Ind. and a member of the First Mennonite Church there.

The bequest is to be used in establishing a home for aged, or if that is not feasible, given to a hospital or other church project. At the recent conference at Washington, Ill., it was decided to hold the funds for one year and give further study to their disposition.
