Greencastle, Pa. — This community was saddened by the unexpected death of James Lehman, young husband and father who suffered a fatal heart attack on Saturday morning, June 2, while staying in a motel at State College, Pa. He was 24.

Mr. Lehman had gone to Penn State to attend a Dairy Herd Improvement Association meeting. About two months before he had undergone serious heart surgery at the Harrisburg Hospital, from which he seemed to have made fair recovery. Death was due to an acute coronary occlusion.

He was the son of Rev. and Mrs. Walter Lehman of Chambersburg, Pa. Besides his parents he leaves his bereaved companion, the former Catherine Eby; one daughter, Wilma Jean; four brothers and seven sisters.

Funeral services and burial took place June 5 at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
