Emil Risser Lehman, son of John and Eliza Risser Lehman, was born at Halstead, Kansas, December 10, 1881, and departed this life on May 22, 1947. At the age of sixteen he was baptized and received into the Mennonite Church at Halstead. Later he became a member of the First Mennonite Church, Geary, Oklohoma [sic Oklahoma], in which he served as deacon and as Sunday school teacher. From 1908 to the present he was manager of the Geary Milling and Elevator Company. In 1916 he married Fern Cummins Waddell. He is survived by his wife, a son George of Britton, Oklahoma; three brothers, Will and George of Halstead, Kansas; and Edgar J. of Geary; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary von Riesen of Marysville, Kansas, and Miss Anna Lehman of Halstead.
