MRS. EDITH B. LEHMAN

Edith B. (Horst) Lehman, wife of Victor H. Lehman, Chambersburg. Pa., Route 6, was born Aug. 6, 1897, and departed this life July 27, 1954, at her home in Franklin county, Pa. where she was a life-long resident. The last few years of her life her health failed, and she was confined to bed the three months preceding her death.

She united with the Mennonite church in her latter teens and remained faithful until death. Her devotion to duty was outstanding, whether in the home, in Sunday School or other activities of the Cedar Grove church of which she was a member. Those who knew her best will long remember her keen interest in their spiritual welfare!

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Harold A. of Hagerstown, Md., Leo C. of Chambersburg, Pa. and Emmett at home; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Cedar Grove Mennonite church on July 30 in charge of O. N. John, Louisville, Ohio and John F. Grove, Greencastle, Pa. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
