AGED RESIDENT OF BERNE COMMUNITY CALLED BY DEATH
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church here Dec. 13 for Mrs. Caroline Lehman, 86, who died Dec. 10 at the Berne Nursing Home.
A lifelong resident here daughter of pioneer Berne settlers, she was the last surviving charter member of the Women's Missionary Society of her church. her husband, the late Isaac Lehman, donated Lehman Park to the city of Berne.
Survivors include one son, Menno I. Lehman, manager of the Berne Witness Company.
