SWISS, NATIVE, 86, DIED AT BERNE
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Burkhart Lehrman [sic Lehman], well-known retired farmer here, took place June 3 at the First Mennonite church. He died June 1 at his home in Berne at the age of 86.
Mr. Lehman was born in Canton Bern, Switzerland, and came to this country at an early age. He had lived here since the age of 14, retiring from the farm in 1938.
