ALBERT A. LEHMAN

Albert A. Lehman, son of Gideon A. and Ida B. Lehman, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 24, in Chicago, Ill.

He was born on the family farm at Geary, Okla. on Dec. 1, 1902. After graduating from Geary High School in 1919, he left for Bluffton, Ohio to attend Bluffton College. His family then moved to Bluffton in 1920. He sang with the Coast to Coast Men's Glee Club of the college in 1922, which was a highlight of his life. In 1924 he married Alice Welch, whom he met on this trip. He then made his home in Chicago, and was a foreman at the Continental Can Company until his health caused him to retire at an early age.

Survivors include his wife Alice; daughter Charlene and two grandsons, Craig and Scott Anderson; two sisters, Mary Manges of Bluffton, Ohio, and Berniece Lynn of San Pedro, Calif. A brother, Linnaeus of Geary, Okla. preceded him in death.

Funeral services and interment took place July 26 in Chicago, Ill.
