ONNIE LEDIG

Onnie Ledig, 69, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Eymann, Moundridge, Kan., and widow of the late Harry A. Ledig, died April 9 at the San Antonio Hospital following an illness of several weeks.

A native of Kansas, she came with the family to Upland, Calif. in 1903 and lived in the Alta Loma area most of the time.

She taught piano and was church organist for a number of years. Since the death of her husband she had continued to operate the citrus grove which was set out by her husband's father, the late L. M. Ledig in 1896.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard Holbrook of Luomis, Calif., a son, Harry A. Ledig Jr. of San Pedro; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Ruth and Mrs. Edna Harms, both of Upland, and Mrs. Helen Goerz of Plymouth, and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Ledig was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Upland and an active member of the San Antonio Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Funeral services were conducted in the First Mennonite Church of Upland on April 12 with Dr. David Eitzen officiating. Burial was in the Bellvue cemetery.
