Indiana Youth Dies In Two-Car Crash

Goshen, Ind. — A two-car collision near Middlebury on July 15 claimed the lives of Wilbur L. Hochstetler, 18, of Middlebury and Harvey A. Larson, 45, of Elkhart.

A native of Goshen and a 1969 graduate of Clinton Christian Day School, Hochstetler reportedly was on his lunch hour as an employee of the Wolf Grain Co. in Shipshewana at the time of the accident.

Hochstetler was pronounced dead on arrival at Goshen Hospital. Death was attributed to a basal skull fracture.

Funeral services were conducted in the Woodlawn Amish Mennonite Church July 18. The youth is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Laban Hochstetler of Middlebury and three brothers and four sisters, all of the home.
